I always wonder what’s the exact difference between Sarawakian food and the food over at West Msia….

  2. couldn’t access the article, but i must say that’s some really good news. can’t wait to try some authentic sarawakian food after looking at all the pics u posted.

  3. Hi Wena!

FYI, the place u mentioned opened last month. It is situated close to the Federal Hotel along Bukit Bintang. Look for a shop with a big sign “Sarawak” and go to the back (that’s where the cafe is). The food is the most authentic I’ve had in KL. Not suprising seeing that it’s supported by SEDC. They even have ‘meedin’!

Have u ever tried Sarawak Laksa in KL? They all suck, and dont come close to the original! Plus they cost a fortune.

But at this place it was moderately priced and was the real thing. The staff told me that everything (ingredients, etc) is brought in for Sarawak.

Give it a visit when yr in town!
