One fine day in 2003, I decided to start a food blog to tease my sister and my mother who were both living in the USA. Somehow, along the way, I ended up feeding a lot of people just via the food pictures that I put up everyday.
In 2005, I decided to take a break from blogging and just take it easy. So there were sporadic posts from my travels in the US as well as Germany and England.
Now in 2009, I'm trying to pick it up again and start chronicaling my journey towards a better lifestyle that is more healthy than what it currently is right now.
I”m currently on a business trip to Lubbock, Texas, USA. And here are some videos of the Japanese Steak House we went to, known as Shogun.
The front of the restaurant. It was very quaint. Plus, it has been 4-5 days since I last ate rice so the sight of rice was a pleasure. An added bonus was that they either used Thai or Japanese small grain rice. Yummy.
The chef’s introduction. It’s a bit blurry because there’s not enough light coming from the handycam so was having a tough time to focus on a post.
My old harddisk crashed. Bah! Ok, so that translates to literally hundreds of foodie goodie pictures gone. And that’s pictures that hasn’t been up yet. Should have backup the data but oh well.
As for lack of posts, getting into the blog editor is a real pain over the past few months.
However, will try to put something up of my Plymouth trip. 🙂
My aunt, Cecilia Holmes, passed away quietly yesterday afternoon at 4:30 pm, Sydney time in Australia. She was in the hospital for a few weeks now due to Hepatitis B infection in her liver. She leaves behind 2 beautiful girls.
I’ll always remember my Aunt Cecilia as a chirpy person and jovial. She used to live with us for a few months in Miri during her bachelor days. I was a young primary school girl then. Both me and my sister.
In view of this, I’ll not be blogging until after the funeral service is over. Got a new pc so still setting it up.
PC went back into the shop (so to speak) because the motherboard slot for the graphic card doesn’t fit the card. Ah well. Hopefully, I’ll get it back by Friday if the new motherboard can reach Kuching in time.
Other than that, have been checking out the Nintendo Wii prices in both UK and USA. Eep. Steep. And region lock again. Aiyo.
