Are you really going to read this forecast on your own? Don't you think you ought to get a friend to help you? What if it contains long words? Or what if you misinterpret it? Er... em... if you are really sure that you trust your own judgement... and you can tell what's really going on... Why do you need to read a horoscope anyway? I put it to you, that various people and situations have caused you to lose crucial confidence. You need nothing, other than to get this fact.
Think I need to get more creative and start posting stuff other than hamsters, quizzes, Cainer.
Well, decided to separate the hamsters today. Biting each other like mad. Got them bigger homes too.
Dede (black) seems to have settled in quite nicely and is already running around and exploring her new home.
Bebe (brown), on the other hand, is cowering like mad in her little corner. At the moment, she is strying to find an escape hatch somewhere. From doing a great spiderman imitation by climbing all around the wire cage.
Both of them luv their new running wheel but somehow, I'm more worried for Bebe who seems to have problems settling down. Wouldn't have thought she would have miss her partner but then again, maybe she is. Nothing satisfies that woman. Not only is Bebe feeling scared, she has lost a lot of weight. Think it's because I scare her a lot when I pick her up while cleaning the cage. OR it could be that because she has been running around in her little transparent ball, she wants to taste that freedom again.
Bebe in the blue wheel.
Dede in the red wheel.
I hope that I do not wake up to a hamster fatality tonite. Sigh.

Never realised until today that it took a lot of work and planning to make roads and drains. Listening to the conversation that Dad had at one of the houses we visited today.
So, let's see. Pointers for the day:
When making roads, make sure all materials are onsite and just start laying them until the job is done. If not, after layering with gravel, if it rains, the gravel will wash off. $$$$$$$$$$$ to put back gravel.
U channel drains are easier to maintain than square types as they do not collect sand in the beds. However, more costly and has to be cast in-situ.
If the road level is higher than surrounding areas, the runoff from rainfall will not be able to go into storm drains. Hence, flooding.

Yep, back from KL. Now, catching up with the many blogs that I did not manage to read over the weekend. Got this from chooki's site.

ON GIRLS FOR GUYS TO FILL OUT ... Am curious to know what other guys think. And I bet, most guys will answer question 9 : LONG HAIR. What is this fascination with long hair?
Today, they are fighting a bit more than usual. Think I need to get another cage to separate them. Already, Bebe is looking much thinner compared to Dede. I'm also beginning to suspect that Dede is a Syrian hamsters and they are solitary creatures. Meaning that they will bite the other hamster to death!
Bebe is so timid but she sure is adventurous. One thing I noticed is that she loves to climb the bars so have to think of what equipment to make for her.
I seriously need to get another cage. Probably on Thursday afternoon.
So far, I'm still waiting for the smell to come out of the hamsters. Sprinkled wood shavings everywhere that was wet and I think one of the hamsters has a bit of diarrhoa. Can't tell which one yet.
I did managed to cover the wheel with a strip of cardboard box material so they're now enjoying it more and are running better. In fact, they have learnt how to run side by side now. They did started chewing some of the cellophone tape but I cut the open pieces so it's better now.
Anyway, we'll see how long their quiet companionship will last. They are sort of fighting a bit but so far, no bites penetrating the skin. Not yet anyways. When I see that happen, it's time to separate the both of them.
Left is Dede and Right is Bebe. Bebe reminds me of Min Yen : into exercising. The difference is that Bebe enjoys running on the treadmill wheel. I swear, she luvs the wind running through her fur. Not only that, I found that she is an acrobat or perhaps training to be a cat burglar. She's climbing up all over the bars but she keeps falling down. Hmm... not a good sign.
As for Dede, she eats a lot! I think she's already bigger than Bebe. Dede runs on the wheel but is not a pro as compared to Bebe. Still, she makes do and tries her best.
Both are picky eaters. They tend to eat the sunflower seeds more than anything else. Hmm... have to monitor their diet.
Looking at the hamsters tonite, I get the feeling that I need another cage with a separate wheel. The brown ones doesn't like to shall the wheel with the black one.
And I still haven't decided on the name.
Maylin suggested Niobe and Trinity. Big names for small pets.
Wena : If buy two, takut (scared) they bite each other mah!
Storekeeper : We put them together they don't bite also. Only separate out the male and females lah.
Wena : Oh okay.
Granny : See? Take the grey and white one.
So, we ended up with two hamsters rather than only one. They are about 2-3 weeks old and are very cute. Hopefully, they will not smell. Else, it's bath time!
I am seriously considering getting a hamster as a pet. Saw Min Yen's pictures of her hamsters and they were so adorable.
So, ended up at this site trying to find out more about keeping hamsters. I'm still here. Planning to go to a pet store later today to ask them how much is a hamster and check it out as well.
Lolly, how about Devong keeping one? Seems like they're cheap and easy to maintain. Plus, they are clean. :)
You are an enzyme. You are powerful, dark, variable, and can change many things at your whim...even when they're not supposed to be changed. Bad you. You can be dangerous or wonderful; it's your choice.
Today was the first day of training on Global 8D a.k.a. Global 8 Decisions a.k.a. Ford's methodology for solving problems. Was impressed by the trainer AND the content of the training. Looks like a great problem solving tool that can be implemented with quality related problems WITHOUT having a high bill to ensure good quality. An eye-opener : the automotive industry got their suppliers to use it when dealing with supply related issues pertaining to parts.
An interesting comment made by the trainer. Went something like this :
Correlations does not necessarily mean cause and effect. That's why there are recurring problems.
Good food for thought. Now, if only we can get the Malaysian government to use it. A great way to demonstrante ACCOUNTABILITY. Not to mention Microsoft.
Finally! Got my CD-Burner working again. Phew! Loose connection. Geram! Anyway, it's off to the photoshop to print out the pictures.
On another note, I can now drive a forklift! Woo hoo! Shakes like mad though. Isn't as easy as I thought it would be. Driving a car is lot easier. Probably because I'm so used to it. All the technicians positioned themselves as far as possible from me. Haha! Tells you something about my driving, eh? :)
Hate having headaches, especially those that are related to hormones.
Chewed off a lot of people's head last Friday. Emotions out of control. Sigh.
Slept this afternoon with the aircon on but didn't help much.
Washing my hair did. The massage seems to do the trick. :) Feeling better now but had to miss my Granny's (dad's side of the family) birthday dinner today. Sigh. At a restaurant which I've never been to some more.
On another note : Lolly, people are lining up to take the Rajas out for a good time in Kuching wor. Maybe got no time to see you also. :( Anyway, we'll see.
